Thank you for your email. Yes, you may submit your official CSAT results to NYU to satisfy our standardized testing requirement. We do not have a minimum/cut-off score, but we will still require a TOEFL or IELTS exam to show English language proficiency. In addition to your CSAT/TOEFL score, we will look very closely at your academic transcripts (high school, and college if you plan to transfer from a different university next year), extracurricular involvement, and personal essays in the application.

둘째로 지금 질문자가 생각하는 것은 같은 음대에서 전과하는 것이지 편입하는 것이 아닙니다. 음대 대부분 전공이 Steinhardt에 집중되어 있고 Tisch에도 Musical, Recording 등 몇 개의 전공을 offer하지만 major difference는 취득학위 입니다. Steinhardt는 BM이고 Tisch는 BFA입니다. BM과 BA의 차이는 여러 번 말씀 드렸고요.
Performance와 music Business는 모두 Steinhardt 음대에서 offer하는 전공들이고요. Piano Performance 전공이 Music Business 전공보다 입학이 쉽기는 하겠지만 과연 질문자의 의도대로 Performance로 입학해서 Music Business로 전과하는 것이 생각처럼 쉬운지는 의문입니다. 그리고 전과는 보통 2학년 마치고 하는 것이 일반이므로 Piano Performance와 music Business dual major도 생각해 보시는 것도 좋을 듯 합니다. 물론 이 두 과목 복수전공이 가능한가는 admission에 미리 문의해 봐야 할 것 같습니다.
