Contrapuntal Baroque work

Sonata by Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, or Schubert

All works to be performed from memory.
Collaborative Piano/Chamber Music (MM)
l
The pianist can supply the instrumentalist(s) or the
department can provide one for the audition, given enough notice.
l
All works to be auditioned must be approved by the Program
Director one month prior to the audition by sending the repertoire list
to music@temple.edu with
the subject as "Audition Repertoire for Collaborative Piano".
l Two fast movements and two slow movements from two of the following works:
ü Beethoven
Sonata for Piano & Violin in F, Op. 24
ü Mozart
Sonata for Piano & Violin in B-flat, KV 454
ü Brahms
Sonata for Piano and Cello in E Minor, Op. 38
ü Debussy
Sonata for Cello and Piano
ü One
or two solo works that demonstrate proficiency at a graduate level
(memorization is optional)
l Sight-reading
Collaborative Piano/Opera Coaching (MM)
l
The pianist can supply the vocalist or the department can
provide one for the audition, given enough notice.
l
