The video submission should be recorded so that all orchestral excerpts are played in succession in any order you wish without stopping the recording or editing. Solos may be pre-recorded.

Your audition program should be comfortable for you to play.

 

l  All major/ minor scales in two octaves

l  Two contrasting études - one étude should be technical (Kopprasch, Blazhevich) and the other lyrical (Bordogni, Concone)

l  Three standard orchestral excerpts

l  Expect sight-reading

 

Undergraduate auditions should be performed entirely on Contrabass (BBb or CC) Tuba.
