Clara Bauer 에 의해 1867년에 설립된 College- Conservatory of Music 은 Ohio 州 Cincinnati 市 에 있는 University of Cincinnati 의 

공연 예술 대학입니다. CCM의 현재 학장은 Stanley E. Romanstein  (2018년 임명) 이며, 합창 지휘 및 음악학 박사 학위를 취득한 

CCM 졸업생입니다. 이하 음대를 CCM 이라 稱 합니다. 

 University of Cincinnati College- Conservatory of Music 은 U.S. News and World Report가 최근 발표한 음악대학교 순위에서 음악 대학원 분야에서 6 위를 기록했고, voice 와 conducting (orchestral, wind, choral) 분야에서는 

각각 3 위와 5 위를 차지했습니다. 기타 유명 프로그램에는 composition, orchestral performance가 포함되며, 

musical theater 프로그램은 미국 내 5위 안에 rank 될 정도로 알려진 프로그램입니다. 

Student/faculty ratio: 7:1, 학생수 약 1,500 명이 등록하고 있으며 학부와 대학원생의 비율은 5: 5 입니다. 음대의 평균 입학률은 

약 15 % 이지만, 앞에서 말한 인기 프로그램들은 입학하기가 정말 어려워서, 지원을 원하는 학생들은 정말로 신중하게 자신의 입학 

자격요건을 따져 보아야 할 것입니다.  

CCM Application Procedures 

CCM에서 전공할 수 있는 전공은 Music Performance, Music Education, Commercial Music Production, 

Composition Theory, Musicology 에서 학위를 제공합니다. 음악 석사 학위는 classical guitar, jazz studies, 

collaborative piano, conducting, 그리고 music education 을 포함한 모든 프로그램에서 가능합니다. 모든 학부 

음악 프로그램은 공연 기반이며 BM과 BA 학위가 취득 가능하며, 해당 전공에는 Artist Diploma 과정도 포함합니다.

Performing Arts는, Patricia Corbett Theater, Watson Recital Hall, Theatre Production Wing, Corbett Auditorium, 그리고,  

Cohen Family Studio Theater를 포함합니다.
